JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 5 part-color from Shonen Jump 52, 1995.
I keep most of my old Jumps in comic book boxes that rarely see the light of day and stay dormant in storage and are kept in meticulous condition which has helped now that I’m scanning them all. The yellowing of the newsprint is the only thing showing off it’s age.
If I were asked to have scanned these 10 years ago I would’ve reacted in utter horror at the thought of cutting these things up. Now, with the crowdsourcing of the scanlation community, it only makes sense to release these into the wild. Hopefully this’ll be included in the new updates to the Part 5 project!

Cover illustrations for Samson (サムソン) magazine, 2005
by Sansuke Yamada (山田参助)

Samson has a tradition of inviting one artist to draw their covers for the calendar year. Sansuke Yamada was chosen as the cover artist for 2005, and his resulting illustrations are truly beautiful!
